The visitor and hospitality environments have increased their use of AV and Pro audio technologies significantly in recent years, to improve visitor experience and attendance.
Whether it’s for a visitor centre, museum audio visual experience or event hospitality venue, d3 delivers cutting edge, user-friendly AV solutions with no compromise on quality. We provide audio visual equipment that not only creates a more impressive and impactful guest experience but is easy for venue staff to operate.
As AV technology advances, we’re seeing more demand for specialist AV systems. This includes the design of exciting projects such as immersive experiences, augmented reality, projection mapping and video walls. Our highly skilled team works alongside you to create and tailor the experience you want to deliver.
Equipment and installations must offer a high degree of operational resilience: not least to reduce costly downtime. For this to succeed, we deliver both solid design and the introduction of global management.
d3’s largest hospitality AV solution now supports the management of more than 1000 devices via the client’s I.T. network, with no d3 on-site presence required for event days. This system has been in place for 7 years.
The solution has assisted the client in gaining ISO certifications and enhanced green credentials: benefits that were never envisioned when the project specification was penned, but now valuable assets when it comes to securing new business and ongoing bookings.
d3 has a number of internal and external experts in their fields, who assist us with the varied and diverse solutions sought by today’s creative and pioneering hospitality customers. This ensures that our solutions will continue to keep our client’s at the forefront of tomorrow’s commercial challenges.
In 2011, d3 was requested to provide a state of the art solution for the new F1 auditorium in the Silverstone ‘Wing’, in time for the inaugural F1 Grand Prix.
As part of this £23 million build, a comprehensive AV strategy was required – under considerable time pressures – with a fixed handover date that could not slip. Included in the scheme was the auditorium, which included a Digital Projection 3 Chip DLP, 1080P projector (8000 Ansi Lumens), RCF full frequency range audio solution, AMX colour touch panel control system (5" & 17") with technical and non-technical user interface and AMX Digital Signage.
The solution meant that ‘in-house’ non-technical staff were able to use the system freely, without reliance on the hire of third party engineers, which has reduced costs and creates a far more engaging customer experience. This solution has set a new benchmark for the organization, which supports its ongoing strategy for new business development.
After a request to come in to solve an issue the customer was experiencing with a previous supplier, d3 identified an option to deliver a 90% refurbishment of the venue with a new WUXGA Digital Projection projector, new screen, AMX control system interface via iPad, and new speakers. The refurbishment has delivered a fantastic return on investment for the client by reducing or eliminating the need for ongoing maintenance charges that had been in place previously.
Since its formation d3 has always worked to establish and fulfil our clients’ needs according to the following process:
Define // An initial meeting with the client to define the project’s objectives and expectations clearly.
This helps us to glean technical and commercial information and also gives us an opportunity to get to know the client and their needs much better.
Design // We create a bespoke specification for your requirement and present this to you.
You’ll be able to make changes during the “Change of Design Request” (CDR) process, which documents all changes and preferences you make up to the final proposal, ensuring clarity for both parties. Once the project is signed off, we prepare for swift on-site delivery.
Deliver // The entire project is carefully managed by d3 from design to installation.
Relationships are established with any other on-site contractors, and a delivery programme is set out according to your agreed specifications. Once your AV equipment is installed, d3 provides the relevant technical instruction and ongoing support.
d3 has an enviable reputation for delivering some of the UK`s best AV solutions, bringing together live event, broadcast and corporate installation experience to create a new breed of intelligent AV integrator.
