Silverstone Wing F12 Auditorium

In 2011 d3 were requested to provide a state of the art solution for the new F1 auditorium in the Silverstone `Wing`, in time for the innaugral F1 Grand Prix. As part of this £23 million build a comprehensive AV strategy was required under considerable time pressures with a fixed handover date that could not slip. Included in the scheme was the auditorium which included a Digital Projection 3 Chip DLP, 1080P projector (8000 Ansi Lumens), RCF full frequency range audio solution, AMX colour touch panel control system (5" & 17") with technical and non-technical user interface and AMX Digital Signage. The solution means that `in house` non-technical staff are able to utilise the system freely without reliance on third party engineer hire, reducing costs and creating a far more engaging customer experience. It has set a new bench mark for the organisation which assists its ongoing strategy for new business
