D3 Audio & Visual Ltd, its directors, employees and sub contractors have a policy of committing to a number of charitable status organisations to benefit the UK and other parts of the world. All nominated gifts of money or "free work" go to social impact charities benefiting childrens work, the under privileged, drug addiction, alcoholism or family reconciliation programmes.
This years lead charity is Compassion UK which is recognised as one of the most well managed charities with some of the highest pence in the pound (80p) going to the sponsorship and support of children in desperate need. Including:
Healthcare-Educational-Vocational Training-Social and Emotional Care-Spiritual Care
The Compassion child sponsorship programme of £18 per month can sustain a child and dramatically impact their life expectancy and educational future.
D3 have contributed to the digging of a freshwater well on the island of Lagonarve off the coast of Haiti. Lagonarve is officially one of the worst places on earth for water provision, the average person on the island has access to less than 7ltr per day. (Ave USA usage per person per day 140ltr !!!!). Lagonarve itself has an amazing history. The mainland (Haiti) was suffering from overpopulation so the poorest of the poor were rounded up and shipped to Lagonarve with no resettlement help. The beautiful paradise island of Lagonarve was swamped with the population being forced from less than 10,000 to the current 110,000 in just a few short years. The island could not cope and hence it is now in the terrible state it is.
Lagonarve is officially one of the worst places on earth for water provision.
Clean water ALONE would reduce disease on the island by up to 75%.
